Old Mesilla and Mesilla Park
It all begins with Old Mesilla which according to the local sign in the plaza started in the 1840s and centered around San Albino Church. It has historical and cultural significance for the area since its founding. Walk the cobblestone center with New Mexican tourist shops and community staples like the Fountain Theater and El Patio Bar. If you have a chance come to visit.
Mesilla Park is the built-out areas that connect to Mesilla and Las Cruces. It is home to many in the Mesilla community placing the communities where the green belt used to be. This new growth is where many families have steeled down connected to New Mexico State University.
