¿Por qué centrarse en los murales?
Public art reminds us of our communities and what we value. We value the sister cities of the region and seek to celebrate the art that represents us. Art is a space of resistance, power, hope, and love. As you go through the site remember that all these sit in the neighborhoods, street corners, public fences, and all the corners of our cities. Go visit the places where these art pieces are displayed. Time may erode the pieces and people may cover them up, but they will, though ephemeral, remind us of what our communities look like and what stories we are seeking to tell.
