Tino Ortega

The Town of El Paso selected Tino Ortega to design memorial murals for the 23 casualties of the Walmart tragedy. His museum which houses a collection of his work, Galeria Lincoln,  opened in early 2020.

Through painting images that characterize the border city, he has used his work to highlight the culture of the area.

His intention is to increase the sense of community in El Paso and the border region by incorporating elements of the city's culture into his murals.
